Focus and Scope

ABDINESIA: Journal of Community Service focuses on the dissemination of scholarly works and best practices in community engagement, community-based service, and applied research that contribute to sustainable social development and societal empowerment. The journal publishes original articles that integrate academic knowledge, professional expertise, and community participation to address real-world social, economic, educational, cultural, health, and environmental challenges.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to: community empowerment and participatory development; community-based education, literacy, and capacity building; health promotion, public well-being, and social care initiatives; economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, and creative industries; environmental sustainability, disaster mitigation, and climate action; technology transfer, digital innovation, and appropriate technology for communities; local wisdom, culture-based community service, and social inclusion; and policy advocacy, social innovation, and collaborative community partnerships. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary, outcome-oriented, and impact-based community service studies that demonstrate measurable social change, sustainability, and scalability at local, national, and global levels.
